Harper’s Embrace Lifesaver Program is a 501 c 3 organization with a mission to provide NO COST CPR Education Classes to our San Antonio Community.
No. Our instructors are AHA CPR certified, but our classes are designed to teach anyone the life-saving skill at no charge. We do offer a Course Competition card.
Hands-Only CPR is CPR without rescue breaths. If you see a teen or adult collapse, you can perform Hands-Only CPR with just two easy steps:
- Call 911.
- Push hard and fast in the center of the chest to the beat of the Bee Gees’ classic disco song “Stayin’ Alive.” The song is 100 beats per minute – the minimum rate you should push on the chest during Hands-Only CPR.
Yes, they have to be at least 12 years of age.
We ask that you have at least 5 no more then 20 people per class.
Yes we offer both English and Spanish classes.
YES! If you have a space where we can hold the class, we can schedule to bring our equipment and accomodate your needs.
We have a few options you can select.
Family and Friends CPR- (approximately 3 hours class)
- Includes CPR and AED for Adults: Hands-Only CPR: Choking in Adults.
- CPR and AED for Children: Push and Give Breaths: Choking in Children.
- CPR for Infants: Push and Give Breaths: Choking in Infants.
Adult Hands-Only (approximately 1 hour class)
- Includes CPR and AED for Adults: Hands-Only CPR: Choking in Adults.
Child and Infant CPR (approximately 1.5 hour class)
- Includes CPR and AED for Children.
- CPR for Infant- Push and Give Breaths: Choking in Children and Infant.
